The Kansas City Chiefs ruled out All-Pro left guard Joe Thuney and wide receiver Skyy Moore for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens. Coach Andy Reid confirmed Friday that Thuney (pectoral), Moore (knee), nose tackle Derrick Nnadi (triceps) and reserve offensive lineman Prince Tega Wanogho (quad) will not play. Running back Isiah Pacheco (toe, ankle), safety Mike Edwards (concussion), linebacker Willie Gay (neck) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip) are questionable for the game in Baltimore. Pacheco practiced Friday for the first time this week. Gay missed Friday's practice due to a neck spasm. Thuney, 31, was injured during last Sunday's 27-24 divisional playoff win at Buffalo. Moore, 23, has not played since Dec. 17. He was designated to return from injured reserve earlier this month but still isn't ready to go. He caught 21 passes for 244 yards and one TD in 14 games (eight starts) this season. —Field Level Media

Basel were very good in their Champions League group as they finished second in Group A. After six games they won four and lost two, scoring 11 goals and conceding five times. Cesare Prandelli has thanked the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) for their support during his time as national head coach.
The 56-year-old resigned as Italy boss following their elimination from the FIFA World Cup at the group stage and, earlier on Monday, it was announced that he would replace Roberto Mancini at the helm of Turkish side Galatasaray.
Upon taking the role, he has taken the chance to show his appreciation to the FIGC and reveal his pride at having led the national team for the past four years.
So many things happen in four years, Prandelli wrote in an open letter published on the FIGC s official website. You meet so many people and create so many bonds during the construction of a project.

PSV have handed the man who attacked Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic during their Europa League meeting a 40-year stadium ban.
The Eredivisie club were eliminated from the competition despite a 2-0 second-leg victory in their knockout round play-off tie last month at Philips Stadion, having lost 3-0 in Spain.
Ugly scenes marred the final moments of clash in Eindhoven, however, when a 20-year-old supporter entered the pitch and attacked Dmitrovic, who subsequently pinned the man before security escorted him away.
The man in question was given an initial two-month prison stint on March 8, and sentenced to an additional one-month inside if he re-offends.
PSV have now confirmed he will face further long-term punishment for his actions, with a stadium ban …
Cristiano Ronaldo was named in Manchester United s starting XI for the first time this season as Erik ten Hag targeted his first win for the club away to Brentford.
Ronaldo started last weekend s shock 2-1 home defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion on the bench due to concerns over his fitness.
The 37-year-old was absent for much of United s pre-season, missing their tour of Thailand and Australia for personal reasons amid widespread reports he wanted to leave.
Ten Hag has been adamant throughout his first few months in charge that United have been planning with Ronaldo for the 2022-23 season, ruling out a departure.

Fernando Santos team are widely anticipated to top Group F, and Vieirinha wants them to immediately move towards matching that expectation.
We have to be aware that we are the favourites for this game, but we have to prove it on the pitch, said Vieirinha.

The most important thing is concentration, the attitude and the will that we are going to demonstrate.

Mario Gotze has addressed criticism of his Euro 2016 performances amid suggestions that the Germany forward s bark is worse than his bite.
Following a season during which he once again struggled to command a regular starting spot at Bayern Munich, Gotze has been named in the false nine role during the world champions’ opening Group C matches, with limited success.
He did not get on the scoresheet during the 2-0 win over Ukraine and made way for Andre Schurrle shortly after the hour during Thursday’s drab 0-0 draw against Poland at the Stade de France, with boss Joachim Low belatedly fielding a conventional striker in the form of Mario Gomez during the closing stages.
Speaking at a news conference at Germany s Evian base on Sunday, two days before their fina…
Swansea City defender Neil Taylor will miss the rest of the season after breaking his ankle in the 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Saturday.
Taylor, who represented Team GB at this summer s Olympic Games, has undergone surgery after multiple fractures to his left ankle.
The break happened when his foot got trapped in the ground as he fell over, taking the full weight of Black Cats midfielder Craig Gardner on it in the process.
Swansea s head physiotherapist Kate Rees expects Taylor, 23, to make a full recovery, but says he will miss the rest of the season.
The surgeons worked hard on Neil s injury and did a very good job, she said to the BBC.
He is comfortable and the surgeons are happy with the operations.
