The Kansas City Chiefs ruled out All-Pro left guard Joe Thuney and wide receiver Skyy Moore for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens. Coach Andy Reid confirmed Friday that Thuney (pectoral), Moore (knee), nose tackle Derrick Nnadi (triceps) and reserve offensive lineman Prince Tega Wanogho (quad) will not play. Running back Isiah Pacheco (toe, ankle), safety Mike Edwards (concussion), linebacker Willie Gay (neck) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip) are questionable for the game in Baltimore. Pacheco practiced Friday for the first time this week. Gay missed Friday's practice due to a neck spasm. Thuney, 31, was injured during last Sunday's 27-24 divisional playoff win at Buffalo. Moore, 23, has not played since Dec. 17. He was designated to return from injured reserve earlier this month but still isn't ready to go. He caught 21 passes for 244 yards and one TD in 14 games (eight starts) this season. —Field Level Media

Anderson Talisca scored a late winner for Besiktas as the Group G winners won 2-1 at 10-man RB Leipzig, the result sending Ralph Hasenhuttl s side into the Europa League.
Leipzig needed to better Porto s result against Monaco to stand any chance of Champions League progression, but it was not going to plan from the moment Alvaro Negredo gave the visitors an early lead from the penalty spot.
The hosts peppered the Besiktas goal but were frustrated by the outstanding Tolga Zengin in goal. Captain Willi Orban hit the post while Timo Werner and Jean-Kevin Augustin both had goals chalked off for offside on a frustrating night for the hosts, who also had Stefan Ilsanker sent off.

Mikel Arteta did not view Pep Guardiola s touchline ban as an excuse for Manchester City s listless 2-1 Champions League defeat to Lyon and he was not about to cite chucks of empty seats at the Etihad Stadium as a factor.
Nevertheless, it was hard not to detect a hint of weariness over the situation being familiar. City were some bookmakers favourites for a tournament their fans struggle to view with similar enthusiasm.
We had this type of crowd in the Champions League before and we were able to win the game, first-team coach Arteta told a news conference after 40,111 attended the match at a 55,000 capacity stadium.
The ideal scenario is to have a full stadium every time and have people supporting the team like crazy. Some weeks that doesn t happen but I don …
Carlo Ancelotti has no concerns over Kylian Mbappe s start to life at Real Madrid, having failed to score in his first two LaLiga fixtures.
Mbappe, who joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain in June, has failed to kick on from his debut goal against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup two weeks ago.
It would be Los Blancos other summer arrival, Endrick, who stole the show in their last league fixture, scoring on his Bernabeu debut against Real Valladolid.
During that encounter, Mbappe contributed an expected goals (xG) of 0.99 to Madrid s 2.14 total from his three shots on target.
The Frenchman also recorded the joint-most touches in the opposition box (eight, along with Arda Guler) as well as completing four of his five attempted dribbles.
Pep Guardiola does not enjoy press conferences at the best of times.
As he sat down, drew his hands across his face and squeezed together a furrowed brow after Manchester City s 5-2 defeat at home to Leicester City last September, he looked like he d rather be anywhere else in the world.
After 2-1 and 3-1 we were not strong enough to be stable and be patient, he said, having watched Riyad Mahrez fire his team into an early lead before they collapsed shambolically and gave away three penalties.
We started to think we were playing bad when we were not playing bad.
The lack of belief Guardiola eluded to owed much to City playing through a fog of bitter disappointment that still cloaked them following the 3-1 Champions League quarter-final defeat to Lyon t…
A Jorginho penalty and a deflected strike from Willian earned Chelsea their first home Premier League win under Frank Lampard as they beat Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 on Saturday.
Lampard s men had drawn two and lost one of their opening three matches at Stamford Bridge this term, but they deservedly got off the mark on this occasion.
Brighton, now beaten in all nine of their league meetings with Chelsea, survived an onslaught on their goal in the first half but Adam Webster gifted the Blues a spot-kick early in the second half.
Jorginho converted from 12 yards after Webster had brought down Mason Mount, who pounced on the defender s heavy first touch in the box, while Willian added a second 14 minutes from time to send Chelsea up to sixth in the table.
Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric thanked Cristiano Ronaldo for his extraordinary contribution to the club as he rued the star forward s sale to Juventus.
Ronaldo completed a sensational €100million switch to the Serie A champions earlier this week, bringing an end to his successful nine-season stay in Madrid.
He leaves as Los Blancos all-time top scorer and a four-time Champions League winner with the team he joined in 2009.
Modric, who is set to captain Croatia in the World Cup final on Sunday, conceded his disappointment over the departure of the Portugal great.
My wish was for Cristiano to stay. He is unique and it is a pity he has left, the 32-year-old told reporters after Croatia s semi-final win over England.
I thank him for everythin…
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is weighing up whether to block Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes from travelling with Portugal during the international break due to COVID-19 quarantine.
Portugal are scheduled to play three World Cup qualifiers this month – at home to Azerbaijan (March 24), away to Serbia (March 27) and on the road against Luxembourg (March 30).
Linking up with Portugal would mean Fernandes would be subject to a 10-day quarantine in a government-approved hotel upon his return to the United Kingdom amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It would also leave Solskjaer without the services of Fernandes against Brighton and Hove Albion (April 3) and Tottenham (April 10).

Karim Benzema s late equaliser rescued a 1-1 draw for Real Madrid at rivals Atletico Madrid and extended their unbeaten run in El Derbi to 10 LaLiga matches.
Atleti are the side in the ascendancy in Spain s top flight this season, but they have been second best in their own city in recent years and could not end a poor sequence in this fixture on Sunday.
Luis Suarez s 10th league strike against Madrid had appeared enough for a precious victory, yet missed chances came back to bite Diego Simeone s men as the long-serving Atleti coach was denied a club-record 309th win in the job.
Benzema, fit again to captain the side, marked his 371st LaLiga appearance – a record among Madrid s non-Spanish players – with an 88th-minute leveller to maintain the champions int…
Vincent Kompany will take on a player-manager role at Belgian Pro League club Anderlecht after calling time on his 11-year spell at Manchester City.

Now his next move has been revealed, with the 33-year-old announcing that he is to take his first steps into coaching at Anderlecht, the club where he started his career, signing a three-year deal as player-manager.
And Kompany says Pep Guardiola has served as the inspiration for his decision to re-join Anderlecht, stating that the City boss him rediscover his love for football.
